Most people who dislike injectable results were over-treated, not badly treated. The line between refreshed and altered is a matter of judgement and restraint, and it is easier to add than to undo.
What it actually does
Neurotoxin softens the muscle activity that etches expression lines. Filler restores volume where it has been lost. Used carefully they make you look rested; used heavily they make you look treated.
We start conservative and review at two weeks. Adding a little more is straightforward. Dissolving filler is a longer conversation.

Neurotoxin typically three to four months. Filler varies by product and placement, commonly six to eighteen months.

Not if we start conservatively and review, which is how we work. You can always add.
Is there downtime?
Minimal. Some bruising or swelling is possible for a few days.
